Yesterday evening (10/10/2020) at approximately 19:50, the team was called out to assist a male who had gone over on his ankle whilst out walking, resulting in a fractured tibia and fibula.
The North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were also on the scene and request that we carried the patient approx 600m along a very muddy track using our specialised Bell Stretcher and wheel to the awaiting ambulance.
We wish the patient a speedy recovery.
