CALL OUT 44
This afternoon (around 14:45, 7/8/2020) the team was called by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a casualty who had taken a fall from a quad bike on a farm near Whitworth.
We had limited information and due to the location and numbers of team members available we also requested further assistance from Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and the attendance of Coastguard helicopter.
The casualty was treated, packaged and transported to the coastguard helicopter for an onward flight to hospital. From all the team wishing them a speedy recovery.
