CALL OUT 12
Last night the team responded to assist NWAS. The casualty had slipped and fallen whilst out dog walking sustaining a lower leg fracture. The ambulance crew requested assistance from the team to extract the patient from a tricky location on a hillside along a narrow and muddy path. 3 vehicles together with team members attended. Initial treatment was given by NWAS and the casualty was warmed in our casualty bag (a big warm and fluffy sleeping bag) before being carried down to the awaiting ambulance.
