The team was contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist a crew yesterday (10:05 19/1/24) who were struggling to get a patient to their vehicle due to snow and ice in Trawden, Colne.
Team members were deployed and made their way to the scene, where with the use of some additional hands and ice spikes for traction, the patient was conveyed to the awaiting ambulance for transfer to the hospital.
