On Saturday 14/10/23 at just after 16:30pm the team was contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist with an injured cyclist.
The team was deployed towards Holcombe with reports of a cyclist who had fallen off leaving the bridle path and was unable to walk.
A short time later as team members were approaching the RV, the ambulance crew on scene advised that they were able to deal with the casualty without further assistance, and as such the team was no longer required. Team members informed and stood down to return vehicles to the base and back to their weekend plans.
