CALLOUT 18 – Specialist water rescue assets requested

Yesterday evening, specialist water rescue assets from our team and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team responded to an ongoing incident in Salford Quays, at the request of the emergency services.

Unfortunately, it was a tragic outcome, and our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.

 

The Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is a full volunteer organisation that responds to those in need in our local community. The team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and relies entirely on donations from members of the public to carry out this essential life-saving rescue service.
