On Wednesday afternoon (15:40 11/9/24) the team received a request from the north west ambulance service (NWAS) to assist with the evacuation of a casualty from a location near Hameldon Hill.
Team members made their way to the scene where they met with the NWAS crew, The casualty was placed onto the bell stretcher with the wheel before being evacuated approximately 600m back to the road and the awaiting ambulance.
