Early this morning (27/7/24) at just before 6 am, the team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) with a request for assistance in extracting an unwell casualty from a location in the Edisford Bridge area of Clitheroe.
Team members were deployed and once at the RV point, proceeded to location the casualty’s location where the mountain rescue stretcher, wheel and a warming casualty bag were used to package and then carry the patient to the nearest access for the ambulance, for onward transportation to hospital.
