CALLOUTS 22 & 23

This week saw the team called out to 2 very different jobs.

The first (CALLOUT 21) was from a District Nurse in the Whitworth area who required assistance getting a very poorly lady downstairs to be more comfortable for herself and her family at a very difficult time.

You might think what has MR got to do with helping District Nurses in this way?! Well for us we’re extremely proud to be an integral part of the community and that means for us in any way we can utilise our skills to be of service. It just so happens we train with a vast selection of stretchers and techniques alike, which in confined space can help make life a lot easier and for this family helping make a difficult process that little bit easier was our calling and something we’d never turn down.

CALLOUT 22

Last night at approximately 22:30 the team were called to assist our colleagues at Oldham Mountain Rescue Team to help extricate a casualty from an RTC in the Littleborough area. Mobiles 1 & 2 responded along with members directly to the scene.

The casualty was extricated to a land ambulance just as the team arrived and subsequently stood down.
