The team were called out on Saturday (18/5/24) evening to a casualty who had sustained a lower leg injury on the Pendle hill.
Two team vehicles made their way from Burnley, with other team members going directly to the location. Once the team arrived on scene, and the casualty was placed into one of our cas bags and then packed onto our bell stretcher for a short ride on the wheel down to Pendle House Farm. They were then handed back over to the care ambulance crew for onwards care.
Thanks as ever to everyone at Pendle House Farm – they are always accommodating especially on incidents such as this and we are always grateful of how welcoming they are as well as their ongoing support for the team.
