October 24, 2023CALLOUT 49
The team was called out yesterday (18/10/23) around 13:00 to a report of a 22-year-old who’d come off a horse whilst riding with a group near Crawshawbooth on the hilltops and had a suspected mid-femur injury.
Members responded on blue lights with Mobiles 1 and 2. We arrived just after helimed and then assisted paramedics stabilise the casualty before helping to get them safely carried to the helicopter and off the hospital for further treatment.
Thanks to Northwest Air Ambulance as usual for great joint working and we hope the casualty makes of good recovery.
