On Wednesday lunch time (~13:00 30/8/23) we were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to assist with a multiagency incident in Heywood.
It was reported that someone had jumped from a bridge and Greater Manchester Fire, Police, and NWAS assets were already deployed and were after possible assistance in the extraction to get the casualty safely to the road.
As the team was deployed, we received from the control room that the team’s resources were no longer required, and as such the team was stood down.
