On Tuesday evening (8/8/23) at 23:30, the team was contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to assist with an incident near Witton Park, Blackburn.
A casualty had reportedly fallen around 30ft down an embankment and suffered head and arm injuries.
Our team volunteers were contacted and deployed towards the location awaiting further information as the emergency services arrived on the scene.
Shortly after, the control room gained further information from the scene, confirming that the casualty had been able to get themselves to meet the crew safely, and team members were subsequently stood down.
