Just when we thought the busy week and weekend was over the team was contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) to once again assist with an ongoing incident.
This time (at around 20:30 16/7/23) the team was deployed to assist a casualty with a suspected lower leg injury in the Hapton area, as team members made their way to the scene very limited information could be obtained about the location of the casualty, however, they were promptly found by team members during a hasty search.
The casualty was assessed before being walked out from the location back to meet team vehicles, they were briefly met by an ambulance before being conveyed back to their residence by a team vehicle.
