Last Sunday (5/3/23) the team was contacted by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to assist with a casualty near Peel tower.
Team members were mobilized and one of our team vehicles met with a crew on scene confirming the ambulance was able to make its way directly to the casualty’s location and the remainder of the team was stood down.

The Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is a full volunteer organization that responds to those in need in our local community. The team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and relies entirely on donations from members of the public to carry out this essential life-saving rescue service.
