CALLOUT 17 – Call the assist Bolton MRT

This morning at around 04:30 the team was requested by Bolton Mountain Rescue Team to assist with an ongoing incident on the outskirts of Blackburn.

A full team callout was initiated and team members made their way to the location, where they worked with Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and NWAS to safely evacuate the casualty to the land ambulance.

We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.

The Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team is a full volunteer organisation that responds to those in need in our local community. The team is on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and relies entirely on donations from members of the public to carry out this essential life-saving rescue service.
