The year continues to be a busy one for our teamβs volunteers and yesterday afternoon (28/4/2021) saw the team be deployed on our 47th callout so far this year. We were called to Bacup to assist Lancashire police, however, due to the nature of the incident, no further details will be shared.
Looking at the callouts so far in 2021, this incident was the 52nd contact from the emergency services requesting assistance so far in 2021, the five others we have either been stood down before deployed, or no further action was needed by the full team. In comparison, last year, which was by no means quiet for the team saw us responding to our 47th callout on the 13th of August, in 2019 the 47th deployment was on the 29th of September!
