Around 11:20 today the team was called to reports an 80 y/o gentleman who’d fainted with a low pulse, shallow breathing, and a period of unconsciousness, near the area of Crompton Cross just above Clowbridge Reservoir.
The team responded on blue lights and met the ambulance crew at the same time as the air ambulance to jointly assess the gentleman.
After a thorough assessment, it was decided to airlift the gentleman to the hospital for further treatment.
We wish him a speedy recovery and hope he gets to enjoy the hills again soon.
It was then back to base to wash down the vehicle and be ready for the next callout.
