December 20, 2020CALL OUT 70
Yesterday evening (7/12/20) at around 18:00 the team were contacted by North West Ambulance Service to an ongoing multi-agency incident in Waterfoot, where a casualty had fallen down an embankment and into the river and there was uncertainty whether they may have been swept downstream.
As the team deployed assets towards the location, including members of our swift water rescue team, we received the news that the Fire Service had been able to extract the casualty to safety and the team were stood down.
