CALL OUT 31 – Call to assist Lancashire Police
June 12, 2020CALL OUT 33 & 34
June 21, 2020A busy afternoon for the team, with two further call outs meaning we’ve now had 6 in as many days.
CALL OUT 32
The first call out came to the team at approximately 1430 this afternoon to a motocross rider who had come off his bike in Cowm Quarry, Whitworth. A couple of local team members were soon on scene. The North West Air Ambulance was also tasked and landed within approximately 50m of a casualty shortly followed by the arrival of our team vehicle and further team members.
Ultimately the air ambulance was used for extraction and the majority of the team redeployed to the second incident whilst a few remained to assist the crew with the short carry to safely get the casualty to the helicopter.
