June 12, 2020CALL OUT 32 – Injured motocross rider, Whitworth.
June 14, 2020CALL OUT 31
Today the team were called out by Lancashire Police to assist them with an unfortunate incident.
The team deployed Mob2 (Hilux) and our off-road buggy given the location details. The terrain was particularly challenging and we used our specialist rope rescue techniques along with the Bell stretcher to ensure a safe and efficient outcome.
There are so many sides to mountain rescue and we’re proud to be called up as an official police agency when needed for tragic events like today.
The call out lasted approximately 2 hours.
Needless to say our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends of the gentleman at this very difficult time.
