The team have attended two separate incidents, however, due to the sensitive nature of the first incident we are unable to provide further information.
The second incident was an RTC involving a runner and a vehicle. The male was hit by the vehicle and catapulted into a nearby field sustaining multiple injuries. Helimed also attended but due to the location it wasn’t possible to get the casualty to the Air Ambulance and so he was transported by land ambulance to the specialist spinal unit at Royal Preston Hospital.
